Renault Kadjar, Dynamic S Nav 4WD

This is an extremely noisy tyre such that radio listening ( news / talk programmes) is extremely difficult. Early days as regards other characteristics, so comments should not be taken as definitive. Trying to find a quieter tyre so as to change, - costly exercise!

A Combination of Roads for 13,000 Easy Going miles

Hyundai Tucson

Standard fitting on Hyundai Tucson SE Premium. Lasted less than 13000 miles on front axle. Is it my driving? I don't think so. Previous car was Hyundai IX35 SE Premium (basically the same car), changed front tyres on that one at 31000 miles. Previous car to that was a Discovery TD5, tyres lasted 40000 miles between changes so its not my driving! Ok for feedback and grip and noise levels but will not be buying as replacements

A Combination of Roads for 11,000 Average miles

Volvo XC90 D5 185 HP

I have been a continental tyre buyer all my life, but am disappointed with the wear on these. I bought a new XC90 August 2015 and I was delighted that Conti's were the standard tyre with the car but will 11,000 miles on mixed roads I am not so sure, I have had 3 punctures (all nails) and while getting the latest puncture fixed today I was informed I have 2-3 months left on them all. My wife mainly drives the car, it is not driven 'energetically' so we will have about 13,000 miles on this set which i think is quite poor given the brand. While the car is heavy these tyres should wear better. Everything else I am happy with, stopping, feedback etc

Mostly Town for 6,000 Average miles

Lexus RX350

These tyres are are brilliant

I opted for them because I was after something with a AA traction rating, mainly to get me out of trouble but also for the odd spirited driving.

Braking wet and dry is seriously impressive and they always feel as though they'll handle whatever I throw at them. The one complaint that I have is actually with my car. Because these tyres are far grippier than the standard RE031 Potenzas, my cars "no fun" ESC has the occasional tendency of interfering when nearing the cornering limits even though the contis have got everything well under control.

Wear is pretty impressive so far. Tread wear is rated at 420 for this size. I get the impression that driven sensibly they'll last between 25 and 30 thousand miles, but drive like you're in grand theft auto and you'll be lucky to get 8000 miles out of these little puppies.

Highly recommended
